Google Analytics Plugin merupakan plugin yang dibuat Google untuk dapat dipasang pada CMS Wordpress yang fungsinya menganalisa traffic sebuah website. Kegunaannya dapat melihat data tentang berapa jumlah pengunjung per harinya, tulisan apa saja yang pengunjung sukai, dari mana mereka berasal, refferer apa yang membawa mereka ke blog/website kita, link apa saja yang banyak di klik oleh pengungjung.
Untuk menginstalnya, berikut langkah – langkahnya :
1. Silahkan download disini untuk mendapatkan plugin Google Analytics for Wordpress. Jika sudah punya lanjut ke langkah berikutnya.
2. Masuk Dashboard Wordpress, lalu pilih menu plugins.
3. Lalu klik Add New.
4. Lalu klik Upload.
5. Lalu Klik Choose File untuk memilih file plugin yang telah didownload.
6. Kemudian klik Install Now.
7. Setelah selesai menginstal, lalu klik Active untuk mengaktifkan plugin yang telah diinstal tadi.
8. Maka Plugin telah berhasil terinstal dan sudah aktif. Lalu Klik Setting.
9. Lalu muncul tampilan berikut. Klik Authenticate with Google.
10. Lalu klik Grant Access.
11. Lalu ke dashboard wordpress, mumcul seperti gambar dibawah, pilih Account dan Profile Google Analytics yang sebelumnya anda sudah daftarkan.
12. Setelah itu klik Update Google Analytics Setting pada form tersebut.
Maka selesailah proses instalasi plugin Google Analytics for Wordpress, untuk mengetahui hasilnya tunggu beberapa hari kemudian lalu kunjungi Google Analytics, nanti akan ada Statistik tentang website anda.
NB : sebelumnya anda harus membuat akun Google Analytics terlebih dahulu sebelum mulai menginstal plugin ini.
